Policy Statement
Purpose
To provide guidance regarding review and signing of University contracts.
Policy Ownership
Vice President of Budget and Finance
All documents, internal or external, requiring the signature or authorization of a University of Texas at Dallas employee will be executed in accordance with University policy, state and federal law, Regents Rules, and UT System Policy; and be executed with the full understanding of the responsibility that comes with the authority to sign such document. Individuals should carefully review the document prior to signing. Signature authority shall indicate that, to the best of the signer's knowledge, the transaction meets the policies and procedures established by the Board of Regents and the University of Texas at Dallas Administration, and should be processed.
